Events
Business After Hours
Business After Hours provides an opportunity for a company to introduce itself to the business community. This program allows the host/sponsor to showcase its business, services, and facilities to fellow Chamber members. It also offers members the chance to meet one another and network in a casual, relaxed atmosphere.
Chairman's Cup
The Annual Chairman’s Cup Golf Tournament is a fun networking event for Chamber members! Whether you are playing with friends/co-working or playing with potential business partners, all who participate are guaranteed to build relationships. The Chairman’s Cup is also a great fundraiser for The Chamber.
Annual Meeting
The Annual Meeting is The Chamber’s largest corporate event. Leaders of The Chamber highlight the success of the past fiscal year, look ahead to the next with the changing of the Board of Directors, and feature an award presentation to a very deserving Citizen of the Year.
Excellence in Business Awards
At the Excellence in Business Awards the Chamber recognizes outstanding individuals and organizations committed to advancing our business community through their commitment and service. Presented awards include things like: Small Business of the Year, Business Longevity Award, Agri-Business of the Year, Business & Education Partner Award, Administrative Professional of the Year Award.
Holiday Gala
Holiday Gala: Dinner, Dancing, & Local Shopping!
Jump-start your holiday shopping in one location & support The Greater Mount Airy Chamber of Commerce! This fundraiser assists in the creation and planning of future Chamber events. It is also a great way for members to promote their business, entertain co-workers, or spend the evening with friends and family.
Autumn Leaves Festival
The Annual Autumn Leaves Festival (2018 marks the 52nd anniversary) is hosted by The Greater Mount Airy Chamber of Commerce each year. This famous street festival generates revenue for the Chamber and many local crafters, musicians, and food creators. Over 200,000 attend!
Lunch with Leaders
Lunch With Leaders is a mid-day event where esteemed leaders in the community are invited to speak on important topics. At Lunch With Leaders, Chamber members enjoy a lunch, networking opportunities, an educational address, and are able to ask the speaker questions.
Job Fair
The Chamber hosts an annual Job Fair for the purpose of bringing businesses and potential employees together! This event benefits both the business and local communities.
New Member Orientation
At New Member Orientation new members meet The Chamber staff and other new members. At this event, attendees learn what they can do to take advantage of all Chamber membership benefits and what the Chamber can do for their growing business.

Social Media
New members are announced individually on The Chamber’s social media accounts. We work to engage with member’s social media accounts (Like, Share, Tag, etc.) on a daily basis.
Member Referral Service
When community members or other chamber members request business/service/product referrals, the Chamber staff only refer them to businesses who are members.
Use of Chamber Logo on your website
Chamber members may use The Greater Mount Airy Chamber of Commerce logo on their website with the proper authorization.
Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies, for new businesses and Chamber Members, are featured on social media, the Business Bulletin Board in The Mount Airy News, and the Chamber Connects weekly newsletter.

Post a Job
The Chamber strives to aid workforce growth in the greater Mount Airy area. Member Businesses who are hiring may submit job postings that will be displayed on The Chamber website and social media.
Business Recognition
Each month a large and small member of The Chamber are selected as Large/Small Member of the Month and are given a certificate and promoted on Chamber social media.
Education & Information
Small Business Center
Members have access to the Small Business Information Center which offers demographic statistics, area fact sheets, labor information, area maps, and marketing data.
Seminars
Business-related classes and seminars are sponsored by The Chamber and hosted by Surry Community College Small Business Center.
Business Development Committee
The Business Development Committee connects business owners to answers, advice, and resources.

The Chamber Connects bi-monthly newsletter keeps members informed of important announcements, events, and opportunities.
Serve as an Ambassador
The Ambassador Program allows select members to represent The Greater Mount Airy Chamber of Commerce on behalf of their business/organization.

New members may request and receive mailing labels of all members in the directory at no charge. Current members can recieve the labels at a reduced rate.
